Director
  • Possess the personal qualifications to work with children and the ability to relate to staff, parents and community groups.
  • Bachelor of Arts degree or higher in the field of ECE/Education/Child Development with three years teaching and supervisory experience OR hold an associate’s degree in the field of ECE/Education/Child Development or CDA with five years teaching and supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of NAEYC
  • Flexible schedule of availability
  • Hold a Connecticut Head Teacher Certificate
  • Hold training in CPR and 1st Aid

 

Program Coordinator
  • Minimum of an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education with at least five years of experience in the field as a head teacher, program coordinator or teacher
  • Emotional maturity/stability required to carry out assigned responsibilities
  • Ability to relate joyfully and sensitivity to children
  • Work as a team member with staff
  • Must possess sound judgment to handle crisis situations
  • Ability to pass CPR and First Aid Training
  • Ability to lift 40 Pounds
Teacher
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field OR
  • 12 Credits in Early Childhood Education or CDA with 2 years experience in the child care field.

  • High school diploma and experience in the child care field.
  • Must be flexible to changes in planned activities and/or hours of work. (May be required to change classrooms and/or age groups depending on the center’s needs)
  • Emotional maturity/stability required to carry out assigned responsibilities
  • Ability to relate joyfully and sensitivity to children
  • Work as a team member with staff
  • Must possess sound judgment to handle crisis situations
  • Ability to pass CPR and First Aid Training

Aide/Floater
